Synergies Between HR Industry Innovators Randstad® and RiseSmart® Continue to Create Value for Employers

RiseSmart SpotlightTM now provides immediate access to Randstad’s active job opportunities and a path to recruiters, opening more doors for RiseSmart participants…

SAN JOSE, Calif., May 9, 2016 — RiseSmart, the leading provider of contemporary career transition services, today announced that, through a collaboration with parent company Randstad, it is able to offer RiseSmart participants real-time access to Randstad’s job openings. In addition, RiseSmart’s pool of newly active job seekers will be intelligently matched with open positions and presented to Randstad recruiters for consideration, thereby further accelerating time-to-placement.

Since Randstad fills jobs on behalf of companies around the world, and RiseSmart works to connect displaced employees with new jobs, it was a natural step for the two companies to pair their resources. Access to Randstad’s North American opportunities is now fully integrated into RiseSmart SpotlightTM, the company’s flagship outplacement solution, giving candidates instant access to these jobs, including accounting, engineering, health care, information technology openings and more.

Randstad, one of the largest HR services companies in the world, acquired RiseSmart in September of last year. Both companies are committed to innovation in HR, and this integration is the first of several announcements for 2016 that will highlight the advances that are possible for RiseSmart as a result of being a wholly owned Randstad company.

“Access to Randstad’s jobs means we can provide even greater value to our customers through exposure to a broader stream of opportunities,” said Sanjay Sathe, RiseSmart founder and CEO. “We’re proud to contribute to the more than 2 million jobs Randstad fills each year.”

RiseSmart Spotlight will also apply SmartMatch™—the semantic job search engine that matches and intelligently ranks jobs based on participant profiles and preferences—to automatically pair candidates with jobs available through Randstad. Along with access to jobs that Randstad is working to fill, RiseSmart candidates will benefit from having their resumes automatically routed to the Randstad recruiters who are actively working to fill positions.

In addition to Randstad jobs, SmartMatch will also scour opportunities from a variety of other sources, giving job seekers utilizing RiseSmart’s services access to a comprehensive, rank-ordered list of job openings tailored to their background and preferences.
