SAN JOSE, Calif., August 28, 2014 — RiseSmart, the leader in career transition services, has named Vikash Chauhan its new vice president of engineering. In this role, Chauhan will manage and develop RiseSmart’s enterprise SaaS platforms.
Chauhan previously worked for Oracle where he served as the vice president of application development, responsible for developing the Oracle Cloud Marketplace. Chauhan has more than 15 years of experience developing enterprise-level Java architecture, callable technical solutions and enterprise SaaS applications across various domains. He has worked with large public companies as well as start-ups.

Prior to Oracle, Chauhan co-founded Market2Lead, a pioneering start-up focused on producing enterprise SaaS solutions for business-to-business marketers with customers such as Cisco, Citrix and Redhat. He served as Market2Lead’s chief technology officer, responsible for development and delivery of end-to-end solutions until the company was acquired by Oracle in 2010.

Chauhan holds a chemical engineering degree from Pune University as well as a Masters in computer science from Louisiana Tech University. He is also a member of the Silicon Valley chapter of TiE.
